Product testing Crank and Watt Mountain Goat Jersey at the Maratona Dles Dolomites 2023
Could have done this around our local roads but, you know, why not go up mountains...
What a ride!
I went out with a group of 8 to ride the Maratona this year (2023). With those 7 big old lumps including ones made famous in the Giro (I'm talking about you Giau) it seemed like a good opportunity to test run our Goat Jersey. If you cycle you know what a mountain goat is (a cyclist who is a good at going uphill). Our jersey design is a more realistic vision of how I ride up hills. Eyes bulging. Tongue hanging out. Gasping for air! But still loving it.
Most weekend warriors are probably aware of one of Europe's longest running, well organised and best sportives. But if you aren't then the only way to describe it is via pictures. Words don't do it justice. Defo recommend going with an organised group and therefore avoiding the ballot (30 000 applicants for 8000 spots). Truly awe inspiring.
